do i have to take more than one thing?
No. Every line is available on its own and you can buy a set of lawn signs from
us and nothing else. The discount exists because running your website genuinely
makes the rest cheaper for us to do — it isn't a penalty for saying no to
the other bits.
what does a website actually cost?
It depends on how much of it there is, so we won't insult you with a number
before we've spoken. What we will do is give you one fixed price up front, with
the scope written down, so there's no drift. Most local businesses want
something in the same shape — a handful of pages, a way to be contacted or
booked, and it to be findable — and we'll tell you honestly if you need
less than you think.
how long does it take?
A straightforward site is usually a few weeks from the go-ahead, and most of
that is waiting on words and photos rather than on us. Signs depend on the
printer's queue. Ads can be live in days, but give them a month before judging
the numbers. Either way, the date goes in the quote.
my current guy built our site. won't moving break everything?
It's the right thing to worry about, and it's why we build the new site
completely separately while your current one carries on. Nothing changes for
your customers until you've seen the new one and said go. The domain move
itself is minutes, and it's reversible.
who owns the ad accounts and the artwork?
You do, all of it. Ad accounts go in your business's name with you as owner, and
you get the print-ready files for every sign, not just a PDF proof. If you leave,
you leave with the lot — we're not holding your logo hostage to keep you.
do we have to be in london to work with you?
No, but it's who we're built for. Being able to drive over, stand behind the
counter or look at the lot the sign is going on is the thing that makes this
worth paying for rather than hiring whoever is cheapest online.
we're mid-contract. is it worth talking now?
Yes — that's exactly the situation the
contract buyout is for. Send us what you're on and we'll
work out what's left to run and what we'd knock off. Plenty of people find
they're closer to the end than they thought.
