what we do with your details.
Short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and tracks nobody. The only thing we ever hold is what you type into the quote form and send us yourself. The long version is below, because you are entitled to it.

who is asking
London Marketing Solutions is a marketing business in London, Ontario. It is in the process of being incorporated as London Marketing Solutions Ltd.; until that certificate issues, the business behind this site is its owner personally, and either way the same person reads your enquiry and is answerable for it.
We are governed by Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Anything below that falls short of those, they win.

what this site collects on its own
Nothing that identifies you. There are no cookies, no local storage, no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no session of any kind. You can read every page of this site start to finish and we will never know you were here.
Two things happen anyway, because of how the web works, and you should know about both:
- Our host keeps server logs. The site is served by GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., United States). Their servers log your IP address and browser for security and abuse handling. We cannot see those logs and we do not ask for them.
- Three typefaces load from Google. Inter, Bricolage Grotesque and JetBrains Mono come from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google for them and Google sees your IP address in the process. We send Google nothing else, and we get nothing back.
what you hand us on purpose
the quote form
If you fill in the quote form it asks for your name, your business name, your email address, optionally your phone number, what you are after, whether you are already with somebody, and whatever you write in the box.
As the site stands, that form does not transmit anything by itself. Pressing the button opens a pre-filled draft in your own email program, and nothing reaches us until you press send in there. So until you do, the details are on your machine and nowhere else — and what arrives is an ordinary email from you to us.
The tick box beside the button is your express consent under CASL for us to email or ring you about that enquiry. You can take it back at any time; see below.
the free SEO check
The checker asks for a web address and nothing else. To read a page it cannot reach directly, your browser fetches it through a public reader service (r.jina.ai, or one of a couple of fallbacks if that is down). That means the address you type is sent to a third party who is not us and whose logging we do not control. Put in a site you are happy to have read. The result is worked out in your browser, shown to you, and never sent to us.
why we keep it, and what we will not do with it
We use what you send to quote your job, answer your question and, if you become a client, to run the work and invoice it. That is the whole list.
We do not sell your details. We do not rent, swap or share them for anyone else's marketing. We will not add you to a newsletter because you asked for a quote once. If we ever want to use what you gave us for something other than the reason you gave it, we will ask you first.
who else touches it
As few as we can manage. Today that is:
- Our email provider, which carries your enquiry and our reply.
- GitHub, which serves this site and logs requests to it.
- Google Fonts, for the typefaces, as described above.
- The reader service, for the SEO check, and only the address you typed.
- Our accountant, and a lawyer if it ever comes to that, for the records a business is obliged to keep.
Some of those are American companies, so your information can be stored or handled in the United States and is subject to US law, including lawful access requests there. That is the trade for hosting a site the ordinary way; if it is a problem for you, ring instead of using the form.
If we ever add a form back end, a booking tool, a CRM or analytics, this page gets updated before that goes live, not after.
how long we hold on to it
- Enquiries that go nowhere: two years from your last message, then deleted. Long enough that we recognise you if you come back, short enough that it is not a filing cabinet of strangers.
- Clients: for as long as we work together, and then seven years for the invoices and records the Canada Revenue Agency expects us to keep.
- Anything you ask us to delete: gone within thirty days, except what we are legally required to keep.
your say in it
You can, at any time and at no cost:
- Ask what we hold about you, and get a copy of it.
- Have it corrected if we have something wrong.
- Have it deleted, subject to the record-keeping above.
- Withdraw your consent to being contacted — reply “unsubscribe” to any email from us, say so on the phone, or write to hello@forestcity.marketing. It takes effect immediately and it will not affect a quote you have already asked for.
Email us and we will answer within thirty days, which is what PIPEDA allows, though in practice it will be the same week. We may need to check you are who you say you are before handing over a file.
keeping it safe, honestly
This is a small business, not a bank, and we would rather tell you exactly what that means than write “industry-leading security” and hope.
The site is served over HTTPS and holds no database, because there is nothing on it to steal. Your enquiry lives in an email inbox protected by a strong password and two-factor authentication, and access to it is one person. Ordinary email is not encrypted end to end, so please do not send passwords, banking details or anything you would not put on a postcard. If we need something like that to do your work, we will set up a proper way to send it.
children
This is a business-to-business site. We do not seek out or knowingly keep information about anyone under sixteen. If you think we have some, tell us and it goes.
when this page changes
The date at the top is the date it last changed. If we ever change something that actually matters — a new processor, a new use for what you gave us — we will say so plainly here rather than quietly reissuing the page, and where we have your consent on file we will come and ask again.

Tell us first: hello@forestcity.marketing. We would much rather fix it ourselves.
If we do not sort it out to your satisfaction, you have every right to take it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca or 1 800 282 1376. No hard feelings.
